A home inspection is a professional, objective, visual examination of the structure and systems of a home.
It’s like a physical for a house! The home inspection should not be confused with an appraisal or a municipal code inspection. The inspection is not a guarantee, warranty or insurance policy. If the inspector finds areas of concern, the inspection will give you advance insight of what to expect.
No house is perfect and it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy the house.
The inspection is an educational process for the home owner or potential buyer. This is why it is encouraged that the clients are present during the inspections.
You will find the inspections report from Final Step Home Inspection to be more than just ‘a check list.’ It is tailored report of your home. It comes with edited photographs indicating any flaws that are found throughout the inspection and also outlines the positive things in the home. Fees:
Standard fee of $350 covers up to 2000 sqft.
Spaces above 2000 sqft is $0.10 per square foot (equals $10/ 100sqft over and above).
Multiple units (ie. Duplex/Triplex) are $50 per unit over and above the standard fee.
Condo unit Fee of $275
